Economic reports coming
It's a big week for those with their eyes on the economy. Today, the Commerce Department releases home sales data for June.
A report on durable goods will be released Wednesday, and it all leads up to the U.S. gross domestic product for the second quarter, which will be announced Friday.
A whole lotta candles
Elvis' birthday cake would have been topped with 75 candles this week.
You can honor his legacy by applauding one of the area's Elvis impersonators or by checking out previously unseen film footage at the Elvis on Tour: 75th Anniversary Celebration, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cinemark theaters at the Coastal Grand mall.
Crawl and concert for kids
The Conway Crawl, which takes place in downtown Conway each Thursday evening, will have an act-of-kindness twist this week.
In addition to shopping late, you can enjoy the Kids for the Community Concert and drop off nonperishable food items to help fill the shelves of Churches Assisting People.

Cyndi Lauper performs at the House of Blues Myrtle Beach on Saturday. Doors open at 8 p.m., the show begins at 9.
