More than 250 businesses in South Carolina have been cited for not properly checking new employees' paperwork to ensure the person is legally allowed to work in the U.S. since the requirement went into effect July 1, 2009, according to the S.C. Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.

Several businesses in Horry and Georgetown counties were cited, including stores, hotels and a restaurant. To begin your search again, CLICK HERE.
