Boutique Peek: QVC Outlet Store in Myrtle Beach

QVC Inc. is one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world, broadcasting live 24 hours a day, 364 days a year. And as of early April, some of the thousands of products presented online or on its TV programs may be included in the exclusive inventory at the new QVC Outlet Store at Tanger Outlet Center on U.S. 501, Myrtle Beach.

QVC, founded in 1986, showcases more than 1,000 products live every week. The 9,000-square-foot outlet store at Tanger stocks a wide selection of these QVC items in fashion, shoes, jewelry, accessories such as designer handbags, cookware, home decor and electronics.

Additional QVC outlet stores are located in Lancaster and Frazer, Pa., and Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Del. Worldwide QVC headquarters is located west of Philadelphia in West Chester, Pa. With international broadcast operations already in place in the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan, QVC will also expand into Italy sometime this year.

Recognitions for QVC include being named a Top 10 Retailer for Customer Service by the National Retail Federation Foundation and American Express, Retailer of the Year in 2009 by the American Apparel and Footwear Association, as well as the Fragrance Foundation, and receiving the Fashion Accessories Merchandising Excellence award.
