A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition at Conway Medical Center today after he was found in a pool at a Carolina Forest home, Horry County police Sgt. Robert Kegler said.

Police were called at 7:40 a.m. Monday to a home on Dandelion Lane in the Avalon subdivision for the incident, Kegler said. The boy was found in a pool at the location and EMS took him to Conway Medical Center.

Police are investigating the incident, Kegler said.
