A 13-year-old Myrtle Beach boy tried to assault his younger brother with a knife and a baseball bat while they were being watched by a babysitter, according to a police report.
The 29-year-old mother of the boys told police that between 6 and 7 p.m. Monday at Colonial Apartments located at 3500 N. Oak St., the older boy tried to attack the younger boy, police said.
The babysitter told police that the boys, ages 13 and 11, were playing a video game systems when the older boy got upset because the younger boy was dancing around when he started winning at the game, according to the report. The older boy retrieved a baseball bat and started chasing the younger boy before she stopped him from hitting the younger boy.
