THE LOWDOWN | If you're looking for a place to entertain friends or enjoy some Chinese cuisine, P.F. Chang's, located at The Market Common, has recently set up a new happy hour rich with specials for the occasion.

Set in an ultra-chic modern atmosphere, P.F. Chang's is a restaurant chain known for delicious Chinese/fusion fare and family-style dining. The new happy hour incorporates great drink and food specials that can be enjoyed at the bar, patio, or dining room.

The inside decor goes way beyond your typical Chinese-themed restaurant. Dressed in dark hues of orange, black, and dark wood accents, P.F. Chang's merges American and Chinese influences for a more intimate dining experience. The bar is tucked away behind the dining area, creating an inviting, relaxed area to catch up with a friend and enjoy a drink. Over the bar, a mural of 12th century China hangs, creating the focal point for the restaurant, while large, simulated Chinese lanterns dangle over the dining room. On warmer days, enjoy drinks outside on the patio which offers a street view of Market Common passersby.

Happy hour runs everyday from 4-6 p.m. and specials include $2 PBRs (Pabst Blue Ribbon), $3 import drafts, $4 gekkeikan sake, import bottled beer, well highballs, $5 glasses of five select wines, and $6 select specialty drinks. Happy hour also features 14 of P.F. Chang's yummy appetizers on special, including spring rolls and crab wontons to name a few, ranging in price from $3-6.

TIPS | Stay for dinner- P.F. Chang's offers a full menu of specialty and classic Chinese recipes. Also, there's a somewhat hidden parking garage behind the restaurant for close-by, and free, parking.
