Myrtle Beach's Tequila Empire Now Open

Need a shot of tequila? Tequila Empire, a new nightclub at 1012 S. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, should fix your fix.

Tequila Empire, located next to the Beach Wagon, came off a successful grand opening Feb. 17 and will continue to pump out the dance sounds and drink specials Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. According to club emcee and illusionist Carl Michael, every Wednesday is College and SIN Night, hosted by DJ BZ. Fridays host Mexican bands from Mexico and the U.S. and Saturday means it's DJ Diamante of Puerto Rico spinning a mix of Latin and reggae music.

Starting May 3, Tequila Empire will be open on Tuesday with a different themed party each week and special appearances by reality TV celebrities and pro athletes. Already slated to drop in are Courtney from MTV's "Made" and Mikey P from MTV's "From G's to Gents." International dance parties and house music will begin on Thursdays after May 3.

Bar munchies and burgers are served. And Tequila Empire's VIP suite, the Caesar Suite, features exclusive bottle service.
