Still missing the go-to guy

Thanks to attorney Bill for mailing to me the Jan. 28 issue of the Surge containing this wonderful article about Jeff Roberts. Thank you, Paul Grimshaw, for the depth and sensitivity of your writing, and thank you, Scott Smallin, for the great photo of Jeff, as well as the photo of Sam Hannaford remembering our dear friend with his heartfelt eulogy.

I have missed Jeff so much since his passing. He was the "go-to guy" for so many of us. Almost daily I think of something musical that I'd like to share with him or ask him. Most of all I miss his steady friendship - easy to talk to and quick with a laugh. I am glad to see how he is being so fondly remembered in his hometown. Not only was he the Minister of Music of Myrtle Beach, he was the Ambassador of Good Will.
