MYRTLE BEACH -- In a game that featured 13 lead changes and a pair of ties, Cedar Hill (Texas) edged Scott County (Ky.) 47-46 on Thursday to earn third place at the 29th annual Bach Ball Classic.

The Longhorns (15-3) took the lead for good with 5:31 to play on a Tanner Milson 3-pointer, and upped the gap to 46-42 on Thomas Gipson's two free throws with 2:05 on the clock, but the Cardinals kept fighting.

Austin Flannery responded on the ensuing posession with a long 3-pointer that cut the lead to 46-45 at the 1:46 mark and the Cardinals stayed within a possesion the rest of the way. Cedar Hill's Oliver Wells missed a pair of free throws late, giving Scott County the chance for a win, but Isaiah Ivey missed on a layup attempt and Ge-Lawn Guyn's attempted 3-pointer at the buzzer was wide left.
