2009 New Home Parade showcases builders and area homes in grand fashion

Universal design and green construction are two of the trends presented in this year's New Home Parade.

Sponsored by The Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association, the tour includes 21 homes priced from $180,565 to $1 million.

Tour homes opened Friday for the three-weekend event. The hours are: 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays and Sundays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The self-directed tour is free.
