Agreen with an oyster shell-filled cement wall that is built high above a water hazard makes this one of the most unique and memorable holes on the Grand Strand.

The par-4 is short and beautiful but also treacherous.

Water runs the length of the right side of the dogleg right and tall trees run down the left side.

A pair of trees about 100 yards from the green sit in the left side of the fairway and provide definition for the hole, and there's also a tree situated between two fairway bunkers along the water at the bend between 90 and 50 yards from the green.

A small amount of water must be carried off the tee, but driver isn't needed.

The hole measures 320 yards from the white tee and 230 from the red.

A huge and deep bunker protects the entire front of the elevated green, and water lurks just behind a green that has a fair amount of undulation.

There is no room for error on the approach.

quotes
"Great scenery with oyster shell wall supporting green. Strategic trees makes it a thinking man's short par-4."
Ken Gee
"A very well designed par-4 gives big hitters a risk and reward. There are two very different ways to play. You can lay up with a long iron or rip a driver to a very well protected green. It has got to be one of the most fun par-4s at the beach."
Zack Byrd
