The long par-5 is bordered on the right by tall trees and out-of-bounds stakes, and on the left by an inlet of the Waccamaw River.

The hole measures 544 from the blue tee, 516 from the white and 416 from the red. Tees are on a bluff over wetlands and a fairway is sloped from right to left toward a pair of bunkers that border an area of wetlands left of the fairway.

Water on the left comes more into play on the second shot.

There are a pair of bunkers in front of the green to the higher right side of the fairway, water is to the left of the deep green, and the Waccamaw River is the backdrop of the approach shot with Kimbels restaurant overlooking the green on the right.

quotes
"This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing hidden treasures on the Grand Strand. Don't let the gorgeous view of the Waccamaw River distract you, this challenging par-5 requires three accurate shots to hit a green that's just waiting to kick your ball into the hazard running down the left side."
Megan Miller
"ItÂ’s a tough driving hole with out-of-bounds right and a hazard left. The second shot is tough with a big hill on the right and water left, and it's a tough green to putt."
Bobby Ford
