The pin placement on the right side of the green can make a golfer uneasy.

Water surrounds about two-thirds of the green, from the front around the right side to the back, and you get a good look at the hole from elevated tees.

Everything right of the green slopes into the hazard, so the closer the pin gets to the right, the more dangerous the shot.

A bunker is situated to the front left of the green to catch bail-out shots.

The hole measures 182 from the gold tee, 158 from the blue, 138 from the white and 112 from the red.

The green is 32 yards deep and fairly wide, but it is two-tiered with a ridge splitting it across the middle, creating a higher back portion and lower front.

The Sunday pin position is on the back-right plateau near the water bank.

quotes
"Playing for the Coastal Carolina golf team we are very lucky we can play the hole a few times a week. The elevation drop from tee to green gives a great view of the peninsula green that has trouble all around it. This hole is worth the price of admission at TPC."
Zack Byrd
"Every time I play this hole I still change my mind on club selection. A right pin placement is one of the most challenging on the beach."
Nick Nicholas
