The longest hole in Myrtle Beach by a good 150 yards, and of course the only par-6 on the Strand. Players tee off in South Carolina and putt out in North Carolina, as the border is crossed around the 150-yard marker.

The hole is a dogleg left, but not until the third or fourth shot for many. A vast and seemingly endless fairway welcomes tee shots, and water on the left begins about 260 yards from the green and can begin to come into play on the second shot depending on the tee played and how far you hit.

The hole measures 712 feet from the blue tee, 679 from the white, 664 from the gold and a measly 635 from the red. The fairway turns left about 160 yards from the green and a large fairway bunker sits at the back of the bend. It acts as a target for second and third shots.

It's dangerous to attempt to reach a green that is 37 yards deep with a long iron because it's protected on the left and all the way around the back by water, and to the front right by a bunker. As with many 18th holes, a clubhouse deck overlooks the green.

quotes
"This is such a unique hole. It's not ever dya you can play a par-6 hole, and you tee off in one state and hole out in another state. You can be aggressive and try to hit the green in three but the hazard down the left can eat up errant shots."
